Type
Water Based Gel Pomade
Design
The design is pretty consistent throughout their hair product range, clean and simple. The gel pomade is stored a dark red maroon glass jar with a matte black cap. It is 100g and guarantee flight friendly as hand carry item.

Scent
Smoky, Woody Oud and Egyptian Mallow.
Texture & Application
The texture is totally similar to a hair gel product. It is translucent, easy to be scooped out and spreading them on your palm is effortless. Similar to applying to your hair, it was done at ease with a comb. Unlike gel, it doesn’t harden after the application. In fact, it feels light and natural. Suitable for those with thin to medium hair thickness and volume. However with a thick hair like mine, it requires more gel to get a better hold. Restyling wasn’t a problem with some water and comb.

Shine
Medium Shine. For better shine, apply on wet hair. Towards the end of the day, it looks neutral.
Strength & Endurance
Medium Strong Hold (for a humid climate)
This product works best for indoors or drier climate.
For a hot and humid climate, I would suggest something stronger for better hold, such as Barbers Pomade (Gel Pomade) or Morris Motley (Matte Balm)

Front View: 8 A.M. (Before)
It was easy to apply and style. A comb would do a better job

Front View: 8 P.M. (After)
Went through with humid weather. However, towards the end, the hold subsided.

Side View: 8 A.M. (Before)
With my slightly longer side hair, it manage to tame my stubborn hair

Side View: 8 P.M. (After)
This was not restyled with any water throughout the day. The hold has toned down. But overall, I though it was a good messy look.
Washability
Water will get the job done easily. After washing, the hair actually feels softer and moisturized.

Verdict
If you are looking for a light product with medium hold and shine with great scent, I would recommend to have this. Especially if you are a fan of gel pomade, this is one of the best out there as it doesn’t hardens, restyling was easy throughout the day, and it feel so light and natural. On top of everything, the moisturizing feature differentiates itself from the rest.
